Quality Inn University Center - Pittsburgh

Since it is 2 Star hotel the room price is reasonable. The people at the reception desk are extremly friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and practically furnished. Free parking is also a privalage of the hotel.

The bed was comfortable. I like access to Panera as well

Some of the front desk employees were a little immature. One night time employee was somewhat rude.

The location of the hotel is great. It is near to at least 3 universities: University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University and Carlow University. We had our breakfast at Panera which is connected to the hotel. Unfortunately, the restaurant (Panera) is open only until 9:00 P.m, that means no more food after that time. Considering the location and the price I would stay in this hotel again.

I like the room and the price is very good. Hotel van also help me much on getting around Pittsburgh.

Great proximity to Oakland downtown area for shopping & eateries. Large clean comfortable rooms; excellent value for money! There is a bakery conveniently situated on groun floor so if you're feeling too lazy to make the 10min walk to town; this can cater for breakfast, lunch and dinner at extremely affordable prices.

The carpark was undergoing construction works during my stay. I woke up one morning when they were repouring the bitumen practically suffocating in the fumes and a nice scratch sore throat. Even through I was up on the fifth floor, it was very strong smell. I couldn't use the room for the remainder of the day even though I had planned on resting. When I complained to the staff, none were all to helpful about the situation. I wasn't moved to an alternative room and nor was I compensated. That said, I found half of the reception staff fantastic, the other half just lacked any customer relation skills.

Location was just outside city centre, staff were very helpful with our problem and deadly with this very satisfactorily. Would definitely stay again, but in a different room and floor.

We were given a room on first floor, right next to the hotels air conditioning units which were drumming away all night which meant we couldn't sleep. When we complained there was unfortunately no other rooms available. The Duty Manager was more than helpful though and compensated us immediately.

CLose to Pittsburgh University - not significant to us but to others.

Room was functional and had what was needed but appeared dated and worn/dirty for a family night. After seeing a story about bed bugs that morning on tv, made me concerned due to that appearance.

It was very convenient to the University of Pittsburgh - we were visiting the campus. The staff was friendly and changed my room right away when I asked because you could smell the cigarette smoke just coming in the room from people on the balcony.

It was old and in dire need of updating - the only thing that looked new was the flat panel television.

That I call down to complain about serious filth and cleanliness and they upgraded me to penthouse free of charges and there it was clean and nice.

The cleanliness of my first room with queen bed was dirty and just awful
